Our well-funded US client is leading the fight against climate change by revolutionizing clean energy options for consumers and businesses. As a key member of their R&D and operations programs, you’ll help ensure the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of critical software systems supporting their mission.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage R&D delivery operations, including day-to-day delivery, sprint support, and release readiness coordination across Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
• Drive cross-functional program execution from scope definition through delivery, managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Establish and maintain operating cadences, frameworks, and dashboards that provide visibility into roadmap, capacity, and execution.
• Administer and govern critical R&D tooling, including Jira, Jellyfish, JPD, and Confluence: optimizing workflows, templates, and reporting infrastructure.
• Oversee AI tool governance and usage monitoring, ensuring cost management, risk mitigation, and adoption tracking across engineering teams.
• Create executive summaries and delivery metrics that reduce operational overhead for leadership and enable strategic decision-making.
• Build scalable, repeatable processes from the ground up as the company integrates acquisitions and grows R&D capacity.
• Act as the connective layer between teams, removing friction during planning cycles and ensuring smooth handovers across functions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a program manager in software/product/R&D environments (not IT-focused); experience in high-growth or scaling organizations preferred.
• Strong generalist mindset with ability to learn technical tooling quickly; we prioritize self-drive and adaptability over deep technical tool expertise.
• Demonstrated success establishing delivery frameworks, operating cadences, and cross-functional coordination in ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency in Jira and Agile methodologies; experience with program management platforms like Jellyfish is a plus.
• Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and create clarity without constant direction.
• Systems thinker who builds processes that "run themselves" and scale with organizational growth.
