Our U.S client is a leading community solar servicer on a mission to make renewable energy accessible and equitable. They support solar project owners with subscriber management, acquisition, tech solutions, and policy guidance maximizing project ROI. Their platform connects renters, homeowners, and businesses to local solar projects, helping reduce electricity bills while driving the transition to clean energy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process accounts payable invoices ensuring that payment will be made on time and accurately.
• Assist with vendor and employee setup in the new AP/Expense reporting tool (Tipalti)
• Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations (Cash, Prepaids, Accruals, Credit cards), and resolve outstanding items.
• Ensure financial records are up to date, accurate, and properly approved.
• Help prepare audit schedules, maintain the general ledger, and perform account analysis.
• Support accounts receivable processes, assist with collections, and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in accounts payable/receivable.
• Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools (Tipalti, Netsuite, Excel etc.).
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• High level of accuracy in data entry, invoice processing, and record-keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies independently.
