Data Operations Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Data Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and operations, with expertise in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights: Dive deep into data analysis to extract complex information and translate it into actionable insights. Produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders, fostering data-informed decisions across the organization.
• Metric Development & Reporting: Establish and refine key business metrics while maintaining intuitive reporting tools. Regularly communicate results and actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
• Cross-functional Project Prioritization: Utilize data analytics platforms to prioritize cross-functional projects, aligning them with overarching business objectives to ensure strategic consistency.
• QA & Tool Feedback: Conduct Quality Assurance/User Acceptance Testing (QA/UAT) and offer constructive feedback on the functionality of new tools developed by the data analytics, product, and engineering teams. Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Documentation & Data Governance: Oversee the documentation processes for reports, utilizing advanced Excel skills to create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary. Ensure robust data governance practices are in place, while developing expertise in community solar initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics or operations, with strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Hex or Tableau, coupled with extensive experience in SQL and Excel.
• Exceptional skills in data analysis, manipulation, and troubleshooting, with a proven ability to create standardized processes and innovative solutions.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective delivery of insights and collaboration with virtual cross-regional teams.
• Rigorous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Must haves:

• 2+ years of professional experience in analytics or operations
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Hex, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Skills in data analysis, data manipulation, and problem solving
• Proficiency with Excel and data management
• Proficiency with SQL
• Rigorous attention to detail is a must
• Comfortable in front of external clients to present findings

Nice to have:

• Background in project management
• Experience working in renewable energy sector
• Experience working in a start-up environment
• Familiarity with operational processes such as enrollments, billing, payments transaction lifecycle and corresponding software
• Proficiency with leveraging AI to improve operational efficiency

Schedule Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 3 PM to 11 PM CEST (local time in Skopje, Prishtina, Tirana).
