Our U.S. client is a leading community solar servicer on a mission to make renewable energy accessible and equitable. They support solar project owners with subscriber management, acquisition, tech solutions, and policy guidance maximizing project ROI. Their platform connects renters, homeowners, and businesses to local solar projects, helping reduce electricity bills while driving the transition to clean energy.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure they are correctly coded, approved, documented, and processed on time.
• Maintain vendor records, review vendor statements, and assist with payment processing and invoice inquiries.
• Perform accounts payable, cash, and bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to support the month-end close.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents and assist with audits when needed.
• Follow accounting procedures and support accounting projects, process improvements, and other accounting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, resolve issues, and work effectively as part of a team.
