About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in building performance and energy management software, empowering organizations to design, optimize, and operate more sustainable, energy-efficient buildings. Combining advanced technology with industry expertise, they help clients reduce energy consumption, improve building performance, and achieve their sustainability goals. They are looking for a Building Performance Engineer (Pre-Sales) to join their team and play a key role in supporting customers, delivering technical solutions, and driving the adoption of innovative building performance technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales process through technical software evaluations, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, seminars, and technical content to help customers successfully adopt building performance solutions.
• Provide building performance expertise in areas such as energy modelling, daylight analysis, sustainability assessments, and simulation workflows.
• Build strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders while gathering feedback to support product improvements and market development.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote building performance solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in HVAC, MEP, building performance engineering, or energy modelling.
• Must have demonstrated proficiency with IESVE and other building performance simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building physics, heat transfer, energy efficiency, and relevant ASHRAE standards.
• Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, technical sales, or another customer-facing technical role.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver technical presentations and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to understand customer challenges and provide effective technical solutions.
